Archimedes said, "Give me a place to stand, and I will life the Earth!" To lift means to move something upwards. Where is up or down for the Earth? If you are willing to say that it does not matter where up and down are in respect to the Earth-what matters is to move the Earth away from the so-called support0then I can fulfill Archimedes' dream by placing a lever between the ground (i.e., the Earth's surface) and a stone lying on the ground and then pushing the Earth away from the stone.
