| Book review: Coming to Peace with Science: Bridging the Worlds between Faith and Biology | Freeman, LM. 2005.
PSCF 57(4):329-330. CELD ID 20158Abstract This book is a scientific sandwich on evangelical bread. Books on theistic evolution frequently give theological issues scant attention, insufficient to satisfy the typical evangelical who believes that the biblical creation story is irreconcilable with Darwin's theory. Falk, a geneticist, evangelical Christian, and ASA member, has "sandwiched" a well-reasoned defense of evolution between an equally well-reasoned theological "bun." Coming to Peace with Science is more than Falk's personal testimony. It is a convincing argument that theistic evolutionism is not necessarily the first step towards liberalism, but rather a belief consistent with Scripture.
