Hubble space telescope captures infancy of cosmos | Ross, H. 1995.
Facts and Faith 9(2):1-2. CELD ID 6517Abstract Astronomy is unique among all the sciences in providing an observational window to the past. Because of light's travel time, when we observe the Crab Nebula, for example, we are seeing it not as it is now but as it was 4,000 years ago. By looking farther and farther away, astronomers can actually watch the universe grow up from its early infancy to its present state.
