As I see it: Scientists' war against theism | Bergman, J. 1994.
Facts and Faith 8(3):6-7. CELD ID 6493Abstract At a recent science conference, I overheard a couple of colleagues talking about religion and science. One of the conversants, a professor of physics, noted with dismay that a colleague of his was a "creationist." The other professor said he, too, had observed "the growing problem of religious belief" and supported his point with a reference to conflicts in Ireland and Israel. The physics professor rejoined that something must be done about religion everywhere-even if it meant taking drastic measures. He added that whenever an opportunity arose, he endeavored to explain to his students the foolishness of religion and of belief in God.
