Neanderthal Genetic diversity: from missing link to special creation

Abstract
For the second time in six months and the third time in less than three years, mitochondrial DNA sequences of the three Neanderthal specimens differ on average by 3.73%. Modern humans display comparable genetic diversity. A sequence variation of only 3.43% is observed for human mitochondrial DNA.
