Abstract
Dr. Michael Shermer, founder of Skeptics Society and Skeptic magazine, was Dr. Duane Gish's opponent in the debate held in the auditorium of Calvary community Church in Phoenix, Arizona on June 1, 2001. On a hot Phoenix evening, over 900 people packed the auditorium to overflowing.
