Abstract
A new, four-stage Flood model is proposed based on a study of megasequences across the continental USA. Geologic columns from 322 locations, using COSUNA and oil well data were analyzed. Lithologic information and boundaries for six Phanerozoic megasequences and one Late Proterozoic megasequence were recorded.
