Abstract
The question of species' ancestry is at the core of the creation/evolution debate. Though the Bible clearly rejects Darwin's hypothesis of universal common ancestry and, instead, traces species' ancestry back to the created "kinds" of Genesis 1, the scriptural text does not provide an exhaustive listing of each "kind" that God created.
