Abstract
The average kindergartener can't explain what the phrase "gender identity" means. The California State Board of Education changed this. In an "overhaul" of its sex education policies, the board is encouraging teachers to explain gender identity to kindergateners, as well as help LGBTQ high-school students understand the importance of safe sex.
