Abstract
In a rapidly changing culture where innocence is lost, our young people need answers about gender and sexuality more than ever. I remember when I was a young boy sitting in front of a radio my father built. It had glass valves that lit up when they were working, and we would listen to the news and other programs such as family-friendly dramas and, on Sunday morning, hymn singing. We would also listen to the Back to the Bible program with Theodore Epp (the founder of the Back to the Bible organization and its radio broadcast). I distinctly remember my parents telling me the morning of November 23, 1963, after listening to the news on this radio, that President Kennedy had been assassinated the day before in Dallas, Texas.
