Abstract
Charles Darwin (1809-1882) is often considered one of the most extraordinary biological pioneers of all time. The hagiographies written about him are numerous. Over the years, many of Darwin's false ideas have infected every part of society and contaminated disciplines that include politics, economics, education, religion, philosophy, and science.
