| Book review: Medicine, Religion, and Health: Where Science and Spirituality Meet by Harold G. Koenig | Rusthoven, JJ. 2009.
PSCF 61(2):127-128. CELD ID 24622Abstract Increasing attention has been drawn to the spiritual aspects of patients. This has included studies that explore the role of spirituality and/or religion in both patient care and human health. In Medicine, Religion, and Health, Harold Koenig has taken on a difficult task. He has attempted sweeping reviews of several investigative areas that look for correlations between aspects of spirituality and/or religion and various health outcomes. These topics involve a large, complex, and heterogeneous medical literature where the studies vary widely in quality and interpretability.
