Abstract
The second edition of Professor's Levi's stimulating and informative book, The Science in Torah, has been edited and formatted to make it more accessible to the general reader. It presents a partial analysis of the talmudic treatment of scientific matters, focusing on: 1. The great interest and surprising knowledge of the Talmud Sages in scientific matters; 2. Examination of the agreement between their statements and what is accepted by science today; 3. Study of the implications concerning contradictions, if such occur, in halakhah and faith.
