| Book review: The Significance of Complexity: Approaching a Complex World through Science, Theology and the Humanities edited by Kees van Kooten Niekerk and Hans Buhl | Yong, A. 2006.
TS 4(2):205-207. CELD ID 21112Abstract The eight essays that form the body of this volume had their origins in lectures on the significant of complexity research for the humanities and the theology arranged by The Danish Science-Theology Forum and held at the University of Aarhus, Denmark, during the academic year 1999-2000. The essays are organized into three parts: on science, the humanities, and theology. Editor van Kooten Niekerk (in the department of Systematic Theology at the University of Aarhus) and Buhl (curator at the Steno Museum for the History of Science and Medicine at the University of Aarhus) have contributed a joint introduction of "Comprehending Complexity." Despite space constraints, a brief summary of each essay is necessary to show how this volume contributes to advancing the science and theology conversation.
