Book review: The Faces of Origins by David Herbert | Frair, W. 2006.
CRSQ 43(1):13-14. CELD ID 20959Abstract Here is a book that grabbed my attention immediately, and I easily read it in a few hours. But it is a work to which I will refer in the future for its concise presentation of a large spectrum of individuals and events which have served to mold patters of human thought and behavior. The book is packed with scholarship, having more than 400 footnotes. They are real footnotes, not the usual endnotes to which you have to keep flipping to locate sources.
