The fountains of the great deep, and the windows of heaven: a look at the canopy theory, and a better alternative | Whitelaw, RL. 1985.
NCC83 :95-104. CELD ID 19269Abstract Life in the world before the flood was radically different. A normal lifespan was five centuries or more; the world land mass was almost everywhere contiguous and profuse with flora and fauna at every latitude with no stretches of hostile desert or polar waste; and as the end approached "the earth was filled with violence ...for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth." For this we have both the words of Scripture and the geological record.
