Hayward, a physicist and a Christian, retired from a position of principle scientific officer at a British government research laboratory in 1977, in order to devote time to writing. This book is a recently revised edition a work originally published in London, in 1985. He has published several other books, including: Planet Earth's Last Hope, God's Truth and Does God Exist?
