Evolution vs. the big picture | Dye, B. 1990.
CS Dialogue 17(3):4-5. CELD ID 13539Abstract One of the great difficulties with modern research is the ability to maintain a grasp of what I refer to as, the big picture. Scientists, like other professionals tend to specialize and confine their investigations to smaller and smaller bits of nature depending of course, on their specialty. This creates difficulties as sometimes conclusions based on study of an isolated feature do not agree with what might be concluded from looking at all the available evidence.
