Abstract
It has been some years since 'Dialogue' has examined Dr. Thomas Barnes' treatise concerning the origin of the Earth's magnetic field and its destiny. Dr. Barnes, in his first work, laid down his conclusions about the nature of the magnetic field and what it implies about the age of the Earth. Since that work, first published in 1973, there has been considerable reaction to the author's important findings. In order to answer his critics as well as to lay out confirmatory evidence of his results, Dr. Barnes published this revised and expanded monograph in 1983.
