Abstract
If we attempt to link the findings of empirical geological research with the Bible, our first task is to make ourselves familiar with what the earth has been like during the several phases of its Biblically recorded history. An initial time division would be Creation(the formative period), the time between the Fall and the onset of the Flood (a period not accounted for geologically) and the time since the Flood (our present world).
