Abstract
In the previous article in this series, I showed how my father, a convinced evangelical Christian, but no less convinced evolutionist in his early life, became increasingly discomforted over the years by his evolutionary position. He searched for scientific evidence to support a creationist viewpoint but was not able to find any until the final year of his life. Then, at the age of 73, he indicated in a sermon that he believed in a six-day creation occurring approximately 6,000 years ago.
